Accra100.5FM's Gangantuan Lady selected for Foklex Media Awards

Ohenewaa Kesse Boahen also known as Gangantuan Lady of Accra100.5FM, a subsidiary of the Class Media Group (CMG), has been nominated as the Female Newscaster of the Year in the 10th Edition of the Foklex Media Awards.
Gangantuan Lady, who joined the Accra-based radio station last year, has proven to be a highly-motivated, determined, confident and hardworking anchor, who has won over lots of listeners with her crisp delivering of the news.
She asks tough unbiased questions that seek to solicit answers from public figures on their stewardship.
Apart from Gangantuan Lady, 11 other staff members of the Class Media Group (CMG) received nominations in 10 different categories for the awards scheme.
Out of the nominations, Accra FM grabbed eight while NO1 FM and CTV together got four nominations.
The awards scheme, which recognises media practitioners across the country, announced the nominees for the 10th edition on Friday, 26 February 2021.
Meanwhile, the main awards ceremony is slated for 24 April 2021 at the National Theatre in Accra.

Mid-morning Show Host of the Year - Nana Romeo (Accra FM)
Commentator of the Year - Jacob Agbavor (Accra FM)
Male Newscaster of the Year - Kaakyire Badu (Accra FM)
Drive Time Presenter of the Year - Dr Kay (Accra FM)
Drive Time Presenter of the Year - Rev Richard Afful (NO1 FM)
Live Worship of the Year - Kwaku Sampa (Accra FM)
Live Worship of the Year - Ohemaa Kente (NO1 FM)
Radio DJ of the year - Oyokodehye Kofi (Accra FM)
Entertainment Programme Host of the Year - Nana Kwame Gyan (NO1 FM)
Political Programme Host of the Year - Kwabena Bobie Ansah (Accra FM)
Male Entertainment Show Host of the Year – Kojo Preko Dankwa (CTV)
