Board of TGMAs 2024 makes 3 changes for Amerado, Xlimkid
Three significant changes have been effected for two nominees for the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs).
The Board of the foremost music awards scheme in Ghana wrote to inform the public in a letter signed by organisers Charterhouse and Ghana Music Awards PR Robert Klah.
For the Highlife Song of the Year category, rap star Amerado's original Kwaku Ananse has replaced the remix with Fameye which was initially nominated.
Also, the same song will now compete in the Most Popular Song of the Year category.
Meanwhile, singer Xlimkid is now recognised as a primary artiste on his hit song with rapper O'Kenneth titled Lonely Road, from the Pain in Glory EP. Lonely Road is nominated for Best Hiphop Song and Collaboration of the Year honours.

These updates follow a one-week window provided by the organisers and Board of the TGMAs for addressing and rectifying errors and omissions.
