Celeb memoirs: Jon Germain is 'hoarding' a book

Ghanaian music, media and fashion star Jon Germain

Jon Germain has revealed he has written a book.

This comes after his fellow creative arts stars have put out books covering their personal and professional lives, struggles and achievements: Okyeame Kwame, Asamoah Gyan, Yvonne Nelson and Adjetey Anang.

According to the media and fashion star, he penned his book in 2020, when Ghana experienced lockdowns after recording cases of COVID-19 from March.

Germain says he did not put out the book as intended in 2021 because he reasoned there is yet "another chapter" to be added to his life which must be recorded for the book.

Noting that he is "only 48," he expressed faith that the anticipated chapter will be added "in a few more years".

Jon Germain, alias The Supremo, made the disclosure in a post on X (Twitter), September 17, 2023.

In the meantime, the multiple award-winning fashion star launched a perfume line, Saturday, September 2.

Called El Supremo Jon Germain, the cologne presents two flavours; original and intense.

For Germain, the birth of the El Supremo cologne brand is “God arranged”.

According to the singer-songwriter, “early on this year,” when he broached the subject to his friend Mohamed Nuru, founder and CEO of Mac Bancy Oud Perfumes, the latter said the “partnership” had been on his mind also.

“The fragrance is inspired by the exotic African culture, the bravery of our ancestors and the relentless spirit of a true African,” The Supremo remarked in an exclusive interview with Class News' Prince Benjamin (PB).

A radio, TV and music star, Jon Germain is revered for his voice, debonair quality, and fashion sense. He has inspired and influenced many media personalities, and is admired by countless fans locally and internationally.

The launch of the El Supremo perfume line was attended by media star Delay, fashion star and entrepreneur KOD, Akon's manager Babs, and movie star Salma Mumin, to name a few.
