DStv clarifies FAQs confusion, emphasises company and Comm Min are agreed on value offerings
MultiChoice, operators of DStv, have issued a statement to dispel an "erroneous impression" created after an frequently asked questions (FAQs) was published on their website concerning the entertainment company's value offering, which is effective today, Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
MultiChoice underlined, contrary to opinions circulating on social media, "they fully support" the joint media statement that was recently issued by the Communication Minister, Samuel Nartey George, "and implementation of same has already commenced".
Social media users have mocked Mr George for being led on a wild goose chase, some even claiming DStv had effectively used him to market their business. While he sought and promised a reduction in subscription fees, social media users claimed DStv rather put forth a promotion which the company said will end in December.
