Ghanaian artiste Daddy Lumba Junior aka Anokye Supremo has died.

He died in a coma on Thursday, 30 January 2019 in India where he had gone for brain surgery.

The surgery was successful but Lumba Junior went into a coma afterwards.

According to reports, he died from cardiac arrest.

Anokye Supremo was fighting for his life at the Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Mukundapur in India after undergoing surgery to remove a tumour in his head.

According to reports from KOFI TV, the artiste had been in a coma for some days since the operation, with the Surgeons hoping he revived as soon as possible.

The artiste, formerly known as Daddy Lumba Jr., was diagnosed with the ailment when he started experiencing a severe headache which he thought was a migraine.

Upon a visit to the hospital, he was told it was a tumour. He began to feel pains in his left eye which later led to blindness in the same eye.
