FAFFA flies high with ‘Akpe’

Award-winning contemporary gospel singer, FAFFA, has released another sensational urban gospel hit titled ‘Akpe’ which means thank you in English.

‘Akpe’, is her second release in 2019 after ‘Kpegbadza’ which means solid rock, and reflects a perfect blend of urban music harnessing traditional language to praise God and touch the souls of gospel lovers.

In her soothing voice, FAFFA, who’s ‘Make me Wanna’ track won the Best Gospel Hip-hop Song of the Year at the 2017 National Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) elaborates on the positive experiences and blessings bestowed on her by God through lives tortuous journey.

She told ClassFMonline.com that: “‘Akpe’ is my gratitude piece. My thank you to God for His numerous blessings over my life. It has been God since day one”.


Her song ‘Purpose Song’ picked up two awards at the 2018 edition of the NGMA, winning the Best Gospel Video of the Year and Corporate Song of the Year.

She has two albums to her credit - Father’s House, which was released in 2011 and Nobody But You, produced in 2013.

FAFFA is also a UN Youth Goodwill Ambassador for Ghana promoting the Strategic Development Goal (SDG) 16, which is Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
