'Freedom Street' concert: Shatta Wale the only Ghanaian performing for Vybz Kartel’s show
Shatta Wale is set to perform as the only Ghanaian on the bill at Vybz Kartel’s Freedom Street concert in Jamaica.
The highly anticipated event is scheduled for Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Vybz Kartel’s live set will be his first in over a decade, coming after he was recently freed from prison.
Apart from Shatta Wale, Kartel will be supported by stars including Skillibeng, Busta Rhymes, Popcaan, and Spice.
Often called the World Boss, he expressed his excitement, calling the concert an “evolution” that will rewrite the rules of New Year’s Eve celebrations.
