Ghana Cinema Week begins tomorrow Dec 15

The annual Ghana Cinema Week starts tomorrow, Friday, December 15 and ends on Friday December 22, 2023.

Organised by the National Film Authority (NFA), the 2023 Ghana Cinema Week is themed: ‘Electrified Edition’.

The week-long event is aim at showcasing Ghanaian filmmakers and their works, increasing patronage for them, encouraging cinema going, and providing an avenue for knowledge sharing and business growth, among other things.

Across the country, film lovers and curious eyes in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale, during the 2023 Ghana Cinema Week, will be treated to an exciting catalogue of Ghanaian movies including Tetteh Quarshie (Heroes of Africa), The Heroines, Single Not Searching, Our Wife, Oguaman, and others.

Venues for the showing of these films are the Silverbird Cinemas, Oyarifa Mall, The Page Centre, Platinum Bay Hotel, Gold Coast Restaurant, Royal View Cinema in Kumasi and Radach Hotel in Tamale.
