Ghanaian dishes should be on flight menus: Camidoh
Ghanaian singer Camidoh has argued that Ghanaian dishes should be served during journeys on commercial flights especially in the business class.
The 'Sugarcane' hitmaker made the remark on Accra-based Hitz FM, Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Camidoh believes a meal like Banku should be served on a plane because: "It's all part of promoting Ghana."
"This is a Ghanaian dish so why not push for it to be served on a flight?" he stifled a smile.
He highlighted how abundant and economical Banku is.
"You know they can cook Banku and it'll be enough for three days," he noted in Pidgin.
He questioned the essence of being in the business class if one cannot have whatever they want to eat.
"We have to be able to choose what we want. There should be a variety there," he said, arguing that anything aside from that does not make sense. "If it's possible, let's push for more stuff like that."
He stressed that local dishes like Banku being an airplane food "will make sense and it will be a way of promoting Ghana."
Thursday, January 19, 2023, Camidoh released a new extended play (EP) titled 'A Lifetime Is Not Enough: ALINE'. Before this, he scored a new hit with a single titled 'Slow' featuring Nigerian Magixx.
