Global Impact List 2025: Black Sherif Ghana’s biggest music ambassador, charts 13 Iron Boy songs

With 15 songs, mostly from his new album, rapper Black Sherif has been identified as the most dominant artiste from Ghana, per Spotify’s Global Impact List 2025.
Ghanaian-American singer Moliy, however, secured the number one song on the list with her ginormous global hit, Shake It to the Max (Remix), Shenseea, Silent Addy, and Skillibeng guesting.
After her in the top five out of 30, were Black Sherif’s So It Goes featuring Fireboy DML, Black Sherif’s Sacrifice, Olivetheboy and Shoday’s Screaming Beauty, and Sherif’s first offering for 2025, Lord, I’m Amazed, in that order.
Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) 2025 Artiste of the Year (AoTY) King Promise is another singer who joined interrupt Black Sherif’s impressive streak, appearing at number 11 with All Over You, which has vocals from Mabel.
Then came Gyakie at number 18 with No Bad Vibes, helped by Jazzy, Joshua Baraka, and KILIMANJARO.
At number 17, was the second Black Sherif song which did not come from his Iron Boy tape, Green Light, a collaboration with Buju Banton and DJ Kaywise.
Changes, at number 19 concluded Sherif’s dominance – the pensive 14th track from the commercially and critically acclaimed Iron Boy.

In the United Kingdom, Black Sherif, alias Kwaku Rasta, recently played London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire back-to-back, before the climax at the O2 Institute in Birmingham, as part of his Iron Boy World Tour. A standout moment was when he shed tears performing One, a song which sees the Muslim echo the famed words of Jesus, ‘I and my father are one,’ to tell a story about his relationship with his father.
