I’ll only attend TGMAs the day I’m receiving an award – Rufftown singer Baba Tunde

Baba Tunde will only attend the prestigious Ghana Music Awards, now sponsored by Telecel Ghana, “when I’m receiving an award”.
“I’ve not been there before and I don’t want to just go watch. I want the first time I enter the place to be the day I’m going to receive an award,” he said. “So I won’t be going there this year.”
On the ultimate honour, Artiste of the Year, he declined to name a favourite, confident “anyone can win and I will be happy for anyone who does”.
“All the nominees are hardworking and their victory will honour Ghana,” Baba Tunde added.
He spoke to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo.
The singer was in the company of his label CEO Ricky Nana Agyemang of Rufftown Records.
Tunde also revealed artistes he is keen to collaborate with on a song.
“Gyakie and Zlatan,” he said, adding, however, “I want all of them, Davido and all.”
