I’m worried about Shatta Wale's whereabouts – Nana Romeo

The host of the mid-morning show on Accra 100.5 FM, Nana Romeo, has expressed concern about the whereabouts of controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale, known in private life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah.
According to Nana Romeo, he became worried when the police said its personnel could not trace the whereabouts of the artiste.
“As a good citizen, I was worried about his whereabouts, as well as his safety,” the radio presenter said on the Accra FM's morning show Ghana Yensom.
It is recalled that it was on Nana Romeo’s show that the Head pastor of New Life Kingdom Chapel International, Stephen Akwasi, otherwise known as Jesus Ahuofe, prophesied that a popular musician will be shot on October 18 like what happened in South Africa leading to the death of legendary reggae musician Lucky Dube.
Even though Jesus Ahoufe failed to mention the full name of the artiste, listeners made their own inference on the prophecy on the show.
Nana Romeo stated that the revelation that the artiste was going to be shot was a cause of worry to him.
He said when the prophecy broke, he made attempts to get in touch with the Shatta Wale but he has a penchant for not picking calls “so, I could not get in touch with him but later got in touch his producers”.
Meanwhile, Shatta Wale says his life is in danger and he is on the run until the country shows him that there are laws.
He said this in a Facebook post to break his silence after rumours went viral that he had been shot by some unknown gunmen on Monday, 18 October 2021.
