Veteran Ghanaian musician Paulina Oduro has stated that only “idiots” will tag her as a lesbian for being chaste for the past eight years.

She said God created sex to be had between a man and a woman rather than among the same sex group and, thus, cannot be a lesbian.

The ‘Tena menkyen’ hitmaker said she has become old and does not see the need to engage in sex or any amorous relationships.

The 60-year-old musician explained that she is channelling her energy into other profitable ventures, thus, her inability to date a man for the past 10 years.

Asked if she is a lesbian on the Delay Show, Aunty Paulina, as she is affectionally called, said: “I’ve heard it countless times, it’s sad, but what reason would someone say that I’m a lesbian? It’s stupid, I’ve said it; it’s foolishness. Anyone who tags me a lesbian is an idiot. Why do Ghanaians like tagging people, is it by force to date?”
