Kelvynboy wants 'Cindy Thompson' celebrated but wonders if she's alive

Afrobeats star Kelvynboy has wondered if Gospel star Cindy Quainoo, formerly Cindy Thompson, is still alive.
If she is, Kelvynboy wants her celebrated for her "wild" music catalogue.
"Cindy Thompson," he exclaimed via a tweet, Tuesday, January 3, 2023. "That woman should be celebrated if she's still alive! Wild Gospel discography!!!"
Musician and record producer, Nii Quaye Aryee, bandleader of the Musical Lunatics, Wednesday, January 4, answered Kelvynboy saying: "She [Cindy] is still alive she performed this December at the El Wak Stadium" during the Eve Festival.
Cindy Thompson came to public notice after the release of 'Ewurade Kasa (Speak, Lord)' which became a megahit. The song was on the August 2000 'Cindy's Messiah' album which housed multiple hits including: 'Awanwan Do (Wonderous Love)', 'Ao Mekra (Oh, My Soul)', 'Kwankyerefo Jesus (Jesus The Guide)', 'Ewurade Aye (The Lord Has Done It)', etc.
Kelvynboy is open about his music grooming beginning in the church, Seventh Day Adventist (SDA), where he watched his father sing in the choir.
He once also revealed he used to lead singing as part of worship during church services in Senior High School; Osei Tutu SHS, Kumasi.
The singer from Assin Fosu in 2022 performed some traditional Gospel hits in Prophet Dr Emmanuel Akwasi Boakye, alias Dr Ogyaba's, church to an excited and participatory audience.
Before he performed, Kelvyn Brown announced the first church he ever stood in to sing was in Dr Ogyaba's church, on a Sunday.
"About seven years ago," he also revealed. "I used to sleep on this church's premises in Kumasi."
