Legon botanical gardens to shut down Oct. 30

Legon Botanical Gardens has announced its closure, set to take effect on October 30, 2024.
The news was shared by the company managing the place, on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday, 10 October 2024, although no specific reason for the shutdown has been disclosed.
In their statement, the company expressed appreciation for the support received over the years.
“We are closing the Legon Botanical Gardens on 30th October, 2024. We believe we have been able to put lots of smiles on countless number of faces all these years.” the post read.
