'Lomo Lomo': KiDi and Black Sherif team up for surprise Highlife number, out July 31

KiDi and Black Sherif have a suprise collaboration for their fans.
The announcement was made today, Monday, July 29, 2024, via social media.
According to KiDi's post on X, the song, Lomo Lomo, will be out on July 31. Attached, also, was the official cover art for the joint track showing images of both Highlife stars lounging on clouds.
Given the roses in their hands on the cover, the song may be a love song. At publication time, the specific lyrical approach to the aforementioned subject remains a mystery. While it could be another heartbreak tune, following the host's recent trajectory, it could very well mark a return to the singer and record producer's saccharine tradition of yesteryear.
In a disclosure to Class News' Prince Benjamin (PB), Monday night, KiDi said the song was created after the fashion of Ghana's iconic Highlife.
Meanwhile, two days ago, he posted a video of a time he shared with Black Sherif in a recording studio. The singer was seen amusingly performing Black Sherif's latest hit Kilos Milos.
Dennis Nana Dwamena (KiDi) has promised his third studio album will be released in 2024.
KiDi and Black Sherif are EMPIRE signees and former Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year honourees. They are both playing dates on opposite sides of the Atlantic Ocean, currently.
