Planning Committee for Panafest & Emancipation 2025 inaugurated

The Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), in collaboration with key stakeholders, has officially inaugurated the Planning Committee for Panafest and Emancipation 2025, setting the stage for one of Ghana’s most anticipated cultural celebrations.
The inaugural meeting, held yesterday, marked the formal commencement of preparations for the twin events, which are dedicated to promoting Pan-African unity, celebrating African heritage, and honouring the resilience of the African diaspora.
According to the GTA, the committee is tasked with delivering a world-class experience that will reconnect the global African family and showcase Ghana’s rich cultural pride to the world.
“This year’s planning begins with renewed energy and a shared vision.
We are committed to making Panafest and Emancipation 2025 a truly unforgettable experience,” the Authority stated.
Panafest and Emancipation Day have, over the years, served as powerful platforms for dialogue, remembrance, and the celebration of African identity.
The 2025 edition is expected to draw thousands of participants from across the continent and the diaspora.
With the countdown officially underway, organisers are urging all Ghanaians and Pan-African allies to join in making history once again.
