Rocky Dawuni headlines 2023 Music Haven Festival come July

Afro Roots creator Rocky Dawuni is playing the Music Haven Festival 2023.
The festival will host storied talents from all over the world including Ghana, Andalusia, Ireland, Texas, Gambia, Louisiana, South Asia, Georgia, Stratford-upon-Avon.
“This summer, our musical journeys will cross seven distinct bodies of water – the Atlantic and Indian Oceans; the Alboran, Black, Mediterranean, and Arabian Seas; and the Bay of Bengal,” says Eddie Awards-winning producing artistic director Mona Golub.
“We’ll gather to hear spectacular global artists who have not played these parts before, welcome back some old friends who have dazzled the world since they last graced our stage, and showcase, as special guests, some of the finest talents our region has to offer,” she added.
The 2023 Music Haven Festival will take place between July 8 and 14 in Schenectady, New York, USA.
A multi-Grammy-nominated artiste, champion of social causes, Pan-African and a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador for the Environment for Africa, Rocky Dawuni is performing on Sunday, July 9.
Warming the stage ahead of the Ghanaian star will be Zorkie Nelson and Umoja Drummers, thrilling festival patrons with their handmade instruments.
Music Haven Festival is not all about music and community, but also makes available a variety of food and beverages for purchase at all shows beginning at 6PM on 7PM concert nights and throughout festivals and special events.
