Samira Bawumia celebrates 20th wedding anniversary with Veep

On the occasion of Valentine's Day, marked in Ghana as Chocolate Day, Samira Bawumia has celebrated 20 years of marriage to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
The pair got married on February 14, 2004.
On Facebook, today, Wednesday, February 14, 2024, she wrote: "Happy 20th wedding anniversary, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. Thanking God for our journey so far. Happy Valentine's Day, my love [heart emoji]."
Below is a picture Mrs Bawumia attached, showing the glee of her wedding day, including late former Vice President Aliu Mahama congratulating her husband.
Should Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), going into the December 2024 elections carry the day, Samira Bawumia would become the fifth First Lady of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
