TGMAs 2025: King Promise audits, praises, rewards Tilly’s PR work for AoTY victory

Tilly Akua Nipaa spoke with “numbers and facts,” singer King Promise (KP) has said, commenting on how media personality managed his public relations (PR) campaign to win the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) 2025 Artiste of the Year.
The Paris hitmaker spoke to Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo.
KP appointed Tilly as his PR for the TGMAs on April 9, 2025. On Saturday, May 10, KP was pronounced the ultimate winner at the TGMAs.
“I like Tilly. I believe she’s worked and worked well,” Promise remarked.
Tilly’s Reward
He revealed, “My management was just talking to me. I think she wants to go and do her master’s and I want to pay for it. Yeah, because she’s done a great job.
“She’s contributed very well to what we did.”
Tilly’s PR Style
The singer nicknamed the 5-Star General commented on Tilly’s approach to PR, and what in particular moved him during the keen campaign for votes for his TGMAs triumph.
“She presents the facts. She said one thing that I respect: ‘If you’re working with an artiste, it’s not about make-believe – it’s real, it’s true so all you do is speak the fact and amplify it. It made her job easy, and she represented it so well, she didn’t step on people’s toes, she was respectful, professional, and I respect that,” he said.
