WATCH: Epixode cements creative position with “Too Much”
Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall musician, Epixode has shown a relatively higher level of creativity through music and visual arts, in addressing recent social issues around the world in his latest single, “Too Much.”
Known in real life as Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, Epixode tactfully addresses the murder of George Floyd and racism, the central idea behind the song and its video, the woes of the COVID-19 pandemic among other demeaning issues.
He also makes a humble call for the world to be made a better place, while keeping faith that everything will be okay, by using an all-male and all-female quiz concurrently in the video.
Epixode, being a professional graphic artist by profession, exhibited his artistic prowess with graffiti designs on the video set. The significant use of black and white colours in the video projects equality among the human race.
The video was directed by Nii Josiah and Derrick Sketched, with sound production credits to Gomez Beatx.
