Wade Maya and wife celebrate 'resilience, faith and hope' after 6 miscarriages
Ghanaian YouTuber and culture diplomat Wade Maya has opened up about his and his wife’s emotional journey through multiple miscarriages, culminating in a successful pregnancy in 2025.
In a heartfelt Facebook post, Wade Maya recounted key milestones in their personal journey. In September 2021, the couple was told they might not be able to have children. Just a few months later, in December 2021, he proposed to his partner.
The couple tied the knot in September 2022, coinciding with the anniversary of the day his wife lost her mother 13 years earlier.
Over the years, they experienced the heartbreak of six miscarriages, each loss bringing its own emotional toll. However, in 2025, the couple celebrated news of another pregnancy, marking a turning point in their journey.
Reflecting on their experiences, Wade Maya described their story as “a testimony of resilience, faith, and hope,” adding, “God is the greatest.”
He later quoted his post with a biblical caption: “He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven no evil shall touch you. Job 5:19.”
The post has resonated with many followers, who have lauded the couple for sharing their struggles and triumphs openly, highlighting the importance of hope and perseverance in the face of repeated loss.
