V/R: Napo pays homage to Awoamefia ahead of Hogbetsotso 2024 grand durbar
In anticipation of the Hogbetsotso 2024 grand durbar, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Vice -Presidential Candidate paid homage to Togbi Sri III, the Awoamefia of the Anlo Kingdom in the Volta Region.
The visit highlighted Dr. Prempeh’s respect and admiration for the revered leader, whom he regards as a father figure.
Reflecting on the theme for this year’s celebration, "Strengthening Bonds and Embracing Our Shared Heritage," Dr. Prempeh emphasized its relevance, especially during a time when unity and peace are crucial for Ghana.
"The theme is both timely and meaningful.
It reminds us of the need for peace and unity in our country.
We are one people, with a common destiny," he stated.
In his message, Dr. Prempeh extended heartfelt congratulations to the Awoamefia and the Anlo people, expressing his hope for God’s infinite blessings upon the community.
