Dr. Jabir Ibrahim Mohammed is likely to be the next MP for Tamale Central Constituency

Dr. Mohammed is a 38-year-old young man born in 1987.
He is both a resident in Tamale and Accra.
He is a senior lecturer and astute energy and financial economist at the Department of Finance, University of Ghana.
He has more than a decade of teaching practice and consultancy experience in both academia and industry.
Prior to joining the University of Ghana, Dr. Mohammed lectured on Economics and finance at the University of Professional Studies, Accra.
He has also been an adjunct lecturer at Accra Business School.
Dr. Mohammed has been a student activist and loyal member of the Great NDC fraternity since his student days.
At the National Level, he contributed towards the drafting and shaping of policies in the Youth Manifesto that won the Great NDC power in the 2024 general elections.
He was also actively involved in mobilising resources and campaigning in the lead-up to the 2024 elections.
Dr. Mohammed is a good debater and orator, and he has a great sense of humour and love for people.
He is approachable and easygoing, a mentor to many young people.
His style of leadership is admired by many.
An asset who could be a perfect replacement for Hon. Dr Murtala.
All the attributes of a great leader and a fine gentleman can be found in Dr. Mohammed.
Tamale Central needs a young, vibrant, and dynamic compromising candidate who can blend leadership, professionalism, and a people-centred approach to resolving the challenges of the constituents.
At the professional front, Dr. Mohammed has worked with the Agricultural Development Bank.
He has also provided financial and investment advisory services for a wide range of individuals and corporate organisations. He has consulted widely using economics and financial services tools for both local and international organisations such as the African Development Bank, European Parliament, Access Bank Ghana Limited, Ghana Enterprises Agency, Bulk Oil Distribution and Energy Storage (BOST) etc.
He has participated in and presented scholarly papers widely in local and international conferences on issues of energy, finance, and economics.
Dr. Mohammed is a regular panellist at the Joy News Super Morning Newspaper Review Show every Wednesday, and other media outlets (TV3, Waezor, etc) where they discuss financial and other important national issues.
He has a BA in Economics and Political Science, MPhil in Finance, and a PhD. in Finance, all from the University of Ghana.
