CMG staff unite in pink for breast cancer screening awareness tomorrow

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the staff of Class Media Group (CMG), operators of CTV, Number One FM, Class FM, Accra FM, Dagbon FM, among others across the country, will on Friday, October 24, 2025, come together for an in-house breast cancer screening exercise.
The event formed part of a month-long campaign aimed at promoting early detection, awareness, and prevention of breast cancer.
Employees, as part of the exercise, are to show solidarity by wearing a touch of pink — through shirts, scarves, pins, or accessories — symbolising support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
Friends and family members are also invited to participate in the screening and join in the day’s activities.
The exercise will feature interactive sessions and engaging interviews, where staff will also share insights and lessons learnt throughout the month about breast cancer prevention and healthy living.
Health professionals will be on-site to conduct screenings and provide education on self-examination and early warning signs.
A spokesperson for the organising team described the initiative as “a moment of learning, care, and community,” emphasising that early detection remains the most powerful tool in saving lives.
“We believe awareness must go hand-in-hand with action.
By making screening accessible and encouraging open conversations, we’re helping to build a culture of prevention and support,” the statement read.
The campaign will culminate on Thursday, October 31, 2025, with an Outside Broadcasting by Number One FM at Kaneshie Market in the Greater Accra Region, marking the close of the organisation’s month-long observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
