Deputy Defence Minister Joins Russian embassy to mark Fatherland Day

The Deputy Minister for Defence, Ernest Brogya Genfi, last Friday joined the Embassy of Russia in Ghana to commemorate Fatherland Day.

The event, which honours the courage and sacrifice of soldiers who have served their nations, brought together diplomats, government officials, and invited guests.

In his remarks, Mr. Brogya Genfi underscored the importance of recognising and remembering the contributions of men and women in uniform who dedicate their lives to safeguarding their countries.

He noted that such occasions provide an opportunity to reflect on the sacrifices made in the pursuit of peace and national security.

The Deputy Minister also expressed appreciation to the Russian Embassy for the invitation and reaffirmed the value of continued diplomatic engagement and cooperation between Ghana and Russia.
