Deputy Defence Minister opens Challenges Annual Forum 2025 at KAIPTC
The Deputy Minister for Defence, Mr Ernest Brogya Genfi, has graced the opening ceremony of the Challenges Annual Forum 2025 as the Guest of Honour.
The prestigious event took place at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC) in Accra, Ghana.
The three-day forum, which runs from Tuesday, October 14 to Thursday, October 16, 2025, is being held under the theme “Adapt and Advance: Renewing the Impact of Peace Operations.”
This year’s edition has brought together leading peacekeeping practitioners, policy experts, and academics from across the world to engage in high-level discussions on evolving trends and challenges in international peace operations.
The forum serves as a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration, aimed at exploring innovative strategies to strengthen the effectiveness and relevance of peace operations amid an increasingly complex global security environment.
Organisers say the deliberations from the forum are expected to inform future policy directions and enhance international cooperation in peacekeeping and conflict resolution.
