President Mahama welcomes Grenada PM Dickon Mitchell to Ghana Thurs Oct 17

President John Dramani Mahama will on Friday, October 17, 2025, host the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dickon Amiss Thomas Mitchell, for high-level bilateral talks at The Presidency in Accra.
Prime Minister Mitchell is expected to arrive in Accra on Thursday, October 16, at 4 PM for a two-day official visit. He will be accompanied by Grenada’s chief of staff, minister for foreign affairs, trade and export development, and other senior government officials.
Shortly after his arrival, the delegation will take part in the maiden Ghana–Grenada Political Consultation Meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
On Friday morning, President Mahama will receive the visiting Prime Minister for bilateral discussions aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two nations. The meeting will be followed by a State Luncheon in honour of Prime Minister Mitchell and his delegation.
During his visit, Prime Minister Mitchell will also tour the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park before departing Accra later that day.
