Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh sworn in as member of Audit Service Governing Board
The Head of the Ghana Civil Service, Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh, has been officially sworn in as a member of the Governing Board of the Audit Service at a ceremony held at the Jubilee House in Accra.
The Chief of Staff, Mr Julius Debrah, administered both the Oath of Office and the Oath of Secrecy to the newly constituted board members.
In his remarks, he commended them for accepting the responsibility and assured them of the full support of the Presidency as they carry out their mandate in the interest of the State.
The Chairman of the Governing Board, Mr. Victor Cudjoe Gborglah, expressed appreciation to the President for the trust reposed in the team.
He pledged that the board would work collaboratively to ensure that the Audit Service delivers effectively on its objectives of accountability, transparency, and prudent financial management.
The current Governing Board of the Audit Service is composed of:
Mr. Victor Cudjoe Gborglah – Chairman
Mr. Johnson Akuamoah Asiedu – Auditor-General
Dr. Evans Aggrey-Darkoh – Head of the Civil Service
Dr. Felix Kwame Aveh
Mr. Peter Lance Adua Adogube
Mr. Edem Emerald Sabah Welbeck
Mrs. Eunice S. Comnash
The board is expected to play a crucial role in strengthening the Audit Service’s oversight functions and reinforcing its contribution to good governance in Ghana.
