GA/R: Bissa chiefs call on TDC Acting Managing Director to express gratitude

The Acting Managing Director of TDC Development Company Limited (TDC), Courage Makafui Nunekpeku, received a courtesy visit from the Bissa tribal chief of Tema, Chief Gibril Bancey II, and his entourage on Friday, May 2, 2025.

The visit was to express appreciation for the Managing Director’s generous financial support during the funeral rites of the late wife of the former revered Bissa Chief of Tema.

Chief Bancey II, who led the delegation, delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude on behalf of the royal family and the entire Bissa community.

He commended Mr Nunekpeku for his compassion and timely support during their period of mourning, noting the gesture as a symbol of unity and respect for tradition.

The TDC executive management team joined Mr Nunekpeku in warmly welcoming the visitors.

In his response, the Acting Managing Director extended his condolences once again and reiterated TDC’s unwavering commitment to strengthening community ties and honouring cultural heritage.

“At TDC, we deeply value the relationships we cultivate with our stakeholders,” Mr  Nunekpeku said. “Supporting our communities during moments of grief or celebration is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility and a reflection of who we are as an institution.”

The visit concluded with the presentation of a traditional letter of appreciation and an exchange of symbolic tokens to affirm mutual respect and continued collaboration between TDC and the traditional leadership.
