Ghana, US strengthen collaboration on security and cybercrime
The Minister for Interior, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, received the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy in Ghana, H.E. Rolf Olson, at the Ministry’s office in Accra to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation on security matters.
The meeting focused on strengthening collaboration to address criminal activities, combat cybercrime, and improve law enforcement capabilities across the country.
H.E. Olson commended the Ministry for its proactive engagement and emphasised the importance of consistency and adherence to the rule of law in maintaining national security.
Minister Muntaka expressed gratitude to the United States Embassy for its continued support and reaffirmed Ghana’s commitment to working closely with the Embassy in tackling emerging security challenges.
The discussions signal a renewed partnership aimed at enhancing Ghana’s capacity to respond effectively to security threats while promoting safe and resilient communities
