Interior Ministry warns of possible flooding in Greater Accra on Monday
The Ministry of the Interior has issued a public weather alert warning residents of the Greater Accra Region of the likelihood of moderate rainfall in the early hours of Monday, July 6.
According to a text message sent to citizens, moderate rain is expected between 4 AM and 7 AM, with a 40 per cent chance of occurrence.
The ministry cautioned that low-lying areas could experience flooding and advised residents to avoid driving or walking through flooded roads.
It also urged the public to remain alert and monitor weather conditions.
