Ministry of Finance relocates to Kanda, begins full operations Feb 9
The Ministry of Finance has officially relocated its offices to Kanda in Accra as part of efforts to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
In a statement issued on Friday, February 6, 2026, the Ministry announced that it will commence full operations at the new location from Monday, February 9.
According to the Dr Cassiel A.B. Forson-led ministry, the relocation forms part of ongoing measures to enhance coordination, responsiveness and overall effectiveness in the discharge of its mandate.
It noted that the new office facility at Kanda was constructed by the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) prior to the current administration assuming office.
The ministry indicated that all official correspondence, visits and inquiries should henceforth be directed to the new premises.
The new address details are: Ministry of Finance, Tumu Avenue, Kanda – Accra, with digital address GV-002-6511 and postal address P.O. Box MB 40, Ministries, Accra.
However, the ministry’s contact telephone numbers, email addresses and website remain unchanged.
