PRINPAG unveils official list of candidates for 2025 National Executive Elections

The Electoral Committee of the Private Newspapers and Online News Publishers Association of Ghana (PRINPAG) has officially released the list of candidates vying for executive positions in the Association’s upcoming National Executive Elections.
The elections are scheduled to take place on Friday, August 15, 2025, between 8:00am and 3:00pm at the PRINPAG Secretariat.
According to the Committee, nominations closed at 5:00pm on Wednesday, July 23, with eleven (11) aspirants successfully filing to contest for five key positions.

As part of the electoral process, vetting of all candidates will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 10:00 am sharp at the PRINPAG Secretariat.
Aspirants are required to attend in person and submit their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and any outstanding supporting documents.
The Committee has also opened a window for objections or petitions.
Members with legitimate concerns about any nominee are invited to submit written petitions with supporting evidence by 9:00 am on Friday, July 25, 2025, ahead of the vetting.
Following the vetting, the Committee will announce the outcomes and conduct the official balloting for positions.
The PRINPAG Electoral Committee, chaired by Lawyer Ken Kuranchie, has reaffirmed its commitment to a free, fair, and transparent election that upholds the Association’s democratic values.
