President Mahama pays tribute to late Pope Francis I
President John Dramani Mahama has paid glowing tribute to the late Pope Francis I, describing him as "a good man" who was "personable and humane, with a good soul."
President Mahama penned the heartfelt message in the book of condolence opened at the Apostolic Nunciature in Accra.
He visited the Nunciature on Friday to formally sign the book and express his sympathies following the passing of the revered Catholic leader.
The visit was part of a series of tributes pouring in from around the world, celebrating the life and legacy of Pope Francis I, who was widely admired for his humility, compassion, and commitment to social justice.
