Charges for services offered by the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC) will be revised upward beginning Monday, February 2, 2026.

The Office says the change follows the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations, 2025 (L.I. 2512), which requires public sector institutions to periodically reassess the cost of services they provide.

The adjustment will apply to every ORC service across the country. A statement obtained by Joy Business indicates that the new pricing will cover the entire range of services delivered by the Registrar of Companies. These span company registration, registration of business names, as well as other corporate-related processes.

According to the Office, the revision is intended to support long-term operational efficiency and enhance service delivery nationwide. Although the announcement did not specify the exact amounts, the Office assured the public that a full schedule of the updated fees will be displayed at all ORC offices and uploaded to its official website before the new charges take effect.

Clients and stakeholders have been encouraged to familiarize themselves with the changes and plan accordingly for any transactions after the commencement date.

This move forms part of a wider effort by government agencies and public institutions to comply with the Fees and Charges Regulations, 2025, approved by Parliament.

Recently, the National Identification Authority also announced adjustments to some of its service fees, explaining that the decision was necessary to sustain and improve service quality.
