Concerning the recent bullion van heist that led to the killing of a police escort at Ablekuma Fanmilk, Greater Accra, the Kaneshie District Court has ordered the remand of two suspects into police custody on charges of involvement in an attack that resulted in a policeman's death.
The accused persons have been identified as Benjamin Ojogbe, an unemployed individual, and one Rashid Abdul.
According to the authorities, the assailants' accomplices managed to escape with GH₵145,163.08 in the aftermath of the incident.
The Ghana Police reported that the accused were apprehended at Circle Railways, where they were discovered "enjoying themselves" at approximately 1:30 am.
