Independent parliamentary aspirant for the Kpone Katamanso Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Bishop Abraham Aidoo, has outlined a people-focused vision aimed at addressing what he describes as the daily struggles of residents, including water shortages, unreliable electricity, limited educational facilities, unemployment, and inadequate healthcare.

Speaking to residents and supporters, Bishop Aidoo said life in Kpone Katamanso is defined not by political speeches but by the lived realities of hardship, resilience, and hope.

He cited persistent water challenges, erratic power supply in communities such as Apollonia, the absence of a modern market centre, and limited access to Senior High School education as major concerns confronting the constituency.

According to him, the lack of basic infrastructure continues to affect productivity and quality of life, particularly for women, traders, students, and young people seeking opportunities.

Bishop Aidoo said his decision to contest as an Independent Candidate ahead of the 2028 elections is driven by a commitment to practical solutions rather than rhetoric.

He pledged to advocate for clean and reliable water systems, improved electricity supply to support education and small businesses, and expanded healthcare facilities to ensure residents receive proper medical care.

He also highlighted education and youth development as central to his vision, noting that the constituency currently has only one Senior High School.

He said he would push for additional schools, improved classrooms, youth centres, sports facilities, and skills development opportunities to nurture talent and reduce unemployment.

Beyond policy proposals, Bishop Aidoo pointed to ongoing community interventions as evidence of his commitment to service.

He disclosed that more than 200 residents across the constituency have already benefited from vocational and skills training programmes aimed at helping them earn sustainable livelihoods.

According to him, 35 beneficiaries are from Kpone Township, with several others drawn from Apollonia and surrounding communities.

“These are not promises for the future. These are actions already taking place,” he said, describing the initiative as a means of restoring dignity to families and empowering households through honest work.

Bishop Aidoo said his campaign is rooted in unity, compassion, and responsibility, stressing that leadership must be grounded in service to the people rather than the pursuit of political titles.

He called on residents to believe in the possibility of transformation and collective progress, urging them to support a movement he says is focused on building a better future for Kpone Katamanso.

The Independent aspirant is expected to intensify community engagements as the 2028 elections approach.
