GES employment scandal: Ibrahim Kofi Sessah granted GHS 6.5 million bail

Ibrahim Kofi Sessah has been granted bail by the Financial and Economic Division of the High Court after pleading not guilty to charges related to the alleged sale of employment slots within the Ghana Education Service (GES).

Sessah is facing three counts of financial misconduct involving significant sums of money, in connection with a scheme purportedly involving the illegal sale of GES employment opportunities.

The court set bail at GHS 6.5 million, with two sureties required.

Both sureties must justify the bail with landed property located within the Greater Accra Region.

The prosecution has been directed to file all disclosure materials within 21 days to facilitate the judicial process.

 

The case has been adjourned to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, for mention
