Premso: Police chase dad for poisoning own children to death

The KNUST District Police Command in the Ashanti Region is after a father for allegedly poisoning to death his two children at Premso in the Oforikrom municipality.
The body of Lizzy, 4; and Kelvin, 2; were found decomposing in an uncompleted mission house building belonging to the Methodist Church on Sunday, 15 September 2019.
Some residents in the area say they suspect the father of the children for the murder.
The 27-year-old father of the children, Kofi Marfo, is said to have taken custody of the children from their mother following a misunderstanding between the couple.
He was out of town when the bodies of the children were discovered.
A 26-year-old woman named Faustina, according to the police, turned up as the mother of the deceased children.
Chief Superintendent Godfred Obeng Asare, the KNUST District Police Commander told Kumasi FM's Elisha Adarkwah in an interview that Faustina is helping the police with investigations.
He said a manhunt has been launched for the father of the children.
The bodies have been deposited at the KNUST Hospital morgue for autopsy.
