Karaga MP upgrades basic school infrastructure, distributes 400 dual desks
Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Member of Parliament for the Karaga Constituency and former Finance Minister, has announced the completion of renovations and upgrades to several basic school facilities within the constituency.
The facelift, according to him, became necessary to provide an enabling and conducive learning environment for pupils, many of whom have studied under poor conditions for years.
He noted that the intervention forms part of his broader commitment to improving educational infrastructure in Karaga.
Dr. Amin Adam explained that the upgraded facilities will help enhance teaching and learning outcomes by creating a more supportive atmosphere for both pupils and teachers.
“Providing an enabling learning environment for our children is critical to their academic development,” he said, adding that the renovations have addressed key infrastructure challenges in selected schools.
He assured residents that the initiative would not be a one-off, stressing that similar projects would be extended to many more schools across the constituency.
As part of additional support to basic schools, the Karaga MP disclosed plans to distribute 400 dual desks to schools in the area in the coming weeks.
He said the furniture will help reduce overcrowding in classrooms and improve pupil comfort.
“We will also soon distribute 400 dual desks to the schools,” Dr. Amin Adam stated, highlighting the importance of adequate learning materials in improving educational outcomes.
Reaffirming his commitment, Dr. Amin Adam stressed that education remains his top priority as a legislator.
He indicated that continuous investment in school infrastructure is key to shaping the future of children in the constituency and ensuring equal access to quality education.
The former Finance Minister pledged to work closely with stakeholders to sustain improvements in the education sector in Karaga.
