Limited recruitment for high school teachers to commence next week – Adutwum

The Ministry of Education has announced a forthcoming limited recruitment drive for high school teachers, with the process set to commence next week.
The announcement was made by Minister of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, in a Facebook post on Tuesday, 30 July 2024.
“I’m pleased to announce that a limited recruitment drive for high school teachers will commence next week. Stay tuned for more details on how to apply and the specific areas of focus for this recruitment,” Dr. Adutwum wrote.
Details regarding the application process and targeted areas for recruitment will be released shortly, and aspiring teachers are encouraged to remain vigilant for updates.
This announcement comes on the heels of the Ministry of Health’s (MoH) recent declaration of a significant recruitment exercise for 15,200 nurses and midwives.
The MoH’s recruitment, which begins on Monday, 5 August 2024, received the necessary financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
In a statement issued on Friday, 26 July 2024, the MoH advised interested candidates to apply through its online portal, allowing applicants to select their preferred agency under the Ministry.
The application period will close on Tuesday, 23 August 2024.
The Ministry stressed that the recruitment process is entirely free, warning applicants against any fraudulent claims of facilitation fees.
