MP supports the development of education in Sissala East and West
In a bid to improve the educational sector in Sissala land, the Member of Parliament for Sissala West and East Constituencies in the Upper Region, Mohammed Adams Sukpara has made crucial donations to the Constituency to bolster education.
He made a donation of GHC15,000.00 to the Sissala West Education Directorate.
The funds are earmarked for conducting mock examinations for students preparing for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). This initiative is aimed at enhancing the student's understanding and improving their overall performance.
In Sissala East, a cheque of GHC5,000.00 was presented to the Tumu Midwifery Training School, the only health training institution in the area. The donation was in response to a request from the school's Principal to construct a pavilion, providing a dining space for the students.
The donations were made in the presence of several Constituency executives, including Sissala West Constituency Chairman, Mr. Mahamud Faisal, and Sissala East Chairman, Mr. Razak (Chairman Molo), along with other party faithfuls.
The local leader emphasized the importance of education as the foundation of societal development and reiterated his commitment to continuing efforts to improve educational infrastructure and opportunities in Sissal land.
The contributions reflect ongoing dedication to bettering the lives of constituents through enhanced educational facilities and support.
