SIC Insurance hosts UPSA delegation to strengthen academia-corporate collaboration
The Managing Director of SIC Insurance PLC, Mr. James Agyenim-Boateng, recently hosted a delegation from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), led by its Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, Prof. Samuel Antwi.
The meeting focused on fostering stronger ties between academia and corporate Ghana, with discussions highlighting opportunities for collaboration in innovation, mentorship, and professional development.
Mr. Agyenim-Boateng emphasised SIC Insurance’s commitment to nurturing Ghana’s next generation of professionals and leaders, noting that partnerships with institutions like UPSA are vital to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry practice.
Both parties expressed optimism about deepening their collaboration to create impactful programmes that support research, skills development, and career readiness for students across Ghana.
