Samira encourages children to read
The event, which was a partnership between the ‘Ghana Get Reading Campaign’ and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France, Ghana (CCIFG), was held at the CCIFG Gardens at the Airport residential area, Accra.
Activities at the event included reading, spelling, word games and a performance by renowned French magician from Paris, Stefan Leyshon.
SEHP is an initiative by Second Lady Mrs Samira Bawumia and the literacy event is to encourage children to read and immerse themselves in the vast world of imagination.
