A/R: Man, 38, dies by suicide at Mim

A 38-year-old man, Kwame Peter, has allegedly completed suicide.
The man who is a shoe maker took his own life on Tuesday, 23 May 2023.
According to relatives of the deceased, he was a hale and hearty man who worked for himself.
He is, however, reported to have gone to work in the morning of Tuesday, 23 May 2023, and told his friends he was going home around 4pm but did not close his shop.
“The friends waited and at about 8.30pm since he didn’t close his shop, they sent someone to go and call him to find out why he had still not returned to the shop. When the person got there, his door was locked, they knocked and there was no response.
“When they called his phone, they could hear it ring inside the room but there was no answer, so they were compelled to get a carpenter to break down the door,” mother of the deceased, Madam Omono Gyemfuah, narrated.
She revealed that: “He was found hanging on the ceiling fan. So my son’s death, is between him and his God, we don’t know why he would do that.”
The Mim District Police have since deposited the body of the deceased at the Goaso Government Hospital morgue for autopsy.
