The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillies Naa Koryoo Okunor, together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Seth Sabah Serwornoo-Banini, has paid a courtesy visit to the Central Regional Police Headquarters in Kasoa, where they engaged the leadership of the Ghana Police Service and other security agencies on the state of security in the municipality.

The visit provided an opportunity for the political leadership to reflect on the year’s security situation and assess the effectiveness of protection and safety measures implemented across the constituency.

Officials at the meeting underscored the importance of inter-agency cooperation in maintaining peace and security, particularly in a fast-growing municipality such as Awutu Senya East.

As part of the engagement, the MP and MCE extended Christmas greetings to the security personnel and commended them for their dedication, professionalism and sacrifices in safeguarding lives and property.

The delegation also made donations to the various security services as a gesture of appreciation for their continuous commitment to keeping communities within the municipality safe.

Both the MP and MCE reaffirmed their support for the security agencies and pledged continued collaboration to enhance security and ensure a peaceful environment for residents, especially during the festive season and beyond.
