A/R: Woman stabbed to death by suspected armed robbers in K’si
A 50-year-old woman identified only as Ataah has been stabbed to death near the Seventh Day Adventist Church at Ampabame in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
The incident occurred on Thursday, 18 February 2021.
The deceased, who was a fishmonger, was on her way to work around 6 am when she was attacked by some unknown persons suspected to be armed robbers.
She was stabbed at the right side of her neck.
The attackers allegedly made away with her personal belongings.
Police officers from the Bohyen Police Station who were called to the scene of the incident found the body of the deceased in a puddle of blood.
The body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital Morgue awaiting autopsy while the police has commenced investigations into the matter.
