Angry Asamankese residents stone, chase away late firefighters

The angry locals blocked all major roads in the municipality and hurled stones at the firefighters.
The firefighters fled to the Asamankese Divisional Police Command for refuge.
They were in the belly of the police station for almost five hours fearing they could be lynched by the angry mob.
Calm has been restored the area.
