Any social media account bearing my name fake – Ayorkor Botchwey

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey has cautioned the public not to deal with any person bearing her name on social media because she is not on any social media platform.
According to Ms Botchwey, there is an Instagram account bearing her name which some “unscrupulous persons are using to dupe unsuspecting members of the public both home and abroad.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Anyaa-Sowutuom lawmaker said in a disclaimer that she does not have an Instagram account.
She has, therefore, warned the public not to accept any request on any asocial media platform bearing her name and resist attempts by miscreants who seek to dupe them by soliciting funds in her name.
